The goal of the SOS Project is to make available specialized equipment developed by Table Innovations, Inc. to children with special needs that have the potential to improve their lives. These children are defined by the ADA and IDEA as severely sight impaired or blind, with multiple handicaps that require assistive/adaptive devices and/or services to learn and develop.

Local funding for the Janesville and Rock County, WI area is being provided by the Janesville Kiwanis Club. Distribution of the equipment to children who can benefit is accomplished through local schools and the parents/guardians of the children.

Regional funding is being provided by the Wisconsin - Upper Michigan Kiwanis District Foundation, Inc.
